Best Versace Perfumes in Oman
Article Summary: Versace does not make Versace perfume. The Italian specialist EuroItalia has made every bottle under licence since 2005, kept the licence when Prada bought the house in December 2025, and sells it in Oman through Ounass and the usual perfumeries rather than through any Versace boutique, because Oman has none. The five below are the Versace fragrances MOJ interprets here, Dylan Blue, Crystal Noir, Eros Pour Femme, Dylan Purple and Yellow Diamond, with the perfumer behind each where two or more sources agree, the house's own published notes, Ounass Oman product-page prices in rials, and MOJ versions from OMR 2.500. The one you came for, Eros for men, we do not carry, and we say so below.
- EuroItalia has held the Versace fragrance licence since 2005, extended into the mid-2030s; Prada completed its purchase of Versace on 2 December 2025 for USD 1.375 billion and the fragrances carried on under the same licence.
- Alberto Morillas composed three of the five originals here: Dylan Blue, Yellow Diamond and, with Olivier Cresp and Nathalie Lorson, Eros Pour Femme.
- Ounass Oman prices Dylan Blue at OMR 49.500 for 100 ml, Crystal Noir at OMR 58.500 for 90 ml and Eros Pour Femme at OMR 60.500 for 100 ml, all available.
- No Versace boutique is listed in any Oman mall directory we checked; versace.com runs an Oman storefront for fashion.
- MOJ versions in Oman run from OMR 2.500 to 6.500, four of the five available in all three sizes.

Who makes Versace perfume
Not Versace. Gianni Versace founded the house in 1978 and his sister Donatella carried its codes, the Medusa head, the Greca border, colour with the volume up, after his death in 1997, but the perfumes have been made under licence since 2005 by EuroItalia, a family-owned fragrance company near Milan that also makes Moschino and Missoni. The licence was extended in 2021 into the mid-2030s, and when Prada completed its purchase of Versace on 2 December 2025 for USD 1.375 billion, nothing about the fragrance arrangement changed. So the perfumer on a Versace bottle is whoever EuroItalia briefed, and for the five below that is mostly one man: Alberto Morillas, the Firmenich perfumer behind CK One and Acqua di Gio, who composed Dylan Blue and Yellow Diamond alone and Eros Pour Femme with Olivier Cresp and Nathalie Lorson. Crystal Noir is Antoine Lie's; Dylan Purple is Christophe Raynaud's.
EuroItalia publishes a proper pyramid for every Versace fragrance on versace.com, top, heart and base, which is more than Chanel or Rabanne do, so for once the notes below are not a reading by someone else; they are the licensee's own list, and we quote them before our own.
Is there a Versace store in Oman?
Not for perfume, and as far as we can find, not at all. The Oman Avenues Mall directory lists 152 shops and no Versace; Mall of Oman's luxury directory does not show one either; we found no press report of a Muscat opening. versace.com does run an Oman storefront with rial prices, but it is a fashion e-shop. For fragrance the picture is better than for most houses in this guide series, because EuroItalia distributes widely: Ounass Oman lists Dylan Blue, Crystal Noir, Eros, Eros Pour Femme, Dylan Blue Pour Femme and Bright Crystal on product pages with Omani rial prices, all available when we checked, and Sephora Oman carries the men's line too. The independent perfumeries in Muscat sell the same bottles for a fifth to a half less and claim no authorisation from EuroItalia; whether that is grey import or something else, nobody can tell you from the shelf, so we quote Ounass and not them.
The five, with the MOJ versions
1. Dylan Blue M
The one every man in Oman has smelled on someone. Dylan Blue Pour Homme launched in 2016, composed by Alberto Morillas, and EuroItalia's own pyramid is water notes, fig leaves, bergamot and grapefruit on top; violet leaves, patchouli, papyrus, black pepper and ambroxan in the heart; musk, tonka beans, saffron and frankincense in the base, which is not how aquatics usually end and is why it works after dark as well as at ten in the morning. It is OMR 49.500 for 100 ml at Ounass Oman, available, and OMR 26 to 34 at the independents. Our Dylan Blue M follows the official pyramid almost line for line, with the saffron and incense kept in the base where they belong. All three sizes are available, and it is the one Versace interpretation we would hand to a man who wants a single bottle for the whole working week.
Top: Calabrian bergamot, grapefruit, fig leaf, aquatic notes
Heart: Violet leaf, papyrus, black pepper, ambrox
Base: Musk, tonka bean, saffron, incense, patchouli
2. Crystal Noir
The oldest fragrance here and still the reference dark white floral. Crystal Noir launched in 2004, composed by Antoine Lie, who captured its gardenia heart with headspace technology, and the licensee's pyramid is cardamom, pepper and ginger; gardenia, peony and orange flower; amber, sandalwood and musk. Two things to know at a counter: the eau de parfum carries a coconut note that the eau de toilette replaces with fig, so the two concentrations read like sisters, and the Parfum, newer and stronger, is a third thing again. Ounass Oman has the eau de parfum at OMR 58.500 for 90 ml and the Parfum at OMR 79, both available. Our Crystal Noir follows the eau de parfum reading, coconut included, and in Oman it is the wedding and Eid fragrance of this list, built for the hour after sunset. All three sizes are available and it is the cheapest entry here.
Top: Cardamom, ginger, black pepper
Heart: Gardenia, coconut, orange blossom, peony
Base: Amber, sandalwood, musk, vanilla
3. Eros W
The women's answer to the turquoise bottle. Eros Pour Femme launched in 2014 with a rare three-perfumer credit, Alberto Morillas, Olivier Cresp and Nathalie Lorson, and the official pyramid is Sicilian lemon, Calabrian bergamot and pomegranate; lemon flower, sambac jasmine absolute, jasmine infusion and peony; sandalwood, amber, musk and what EuroItalia calls sensual woods. The double jasmine is the point. It is OMR 60.500 for 100 ml at Ounass Oman, the most expensive of the five originals here, and available. Our Eros W follows the pomegranate and jasmine spine with ambroxan and vanilla in the base, and it is the daytime and spring fragrance of this list, the one to wear when Crystal Noir would be too much. The 50 ml and 100 ml are available; the 30 ml is not at the moment.
Top: Pomegranate, lemon, bergamot
Heart: Jasmine, peony, orange blossom
Base: Sandalwood, ambroxan, white musk, vanilla
4. Dylan Purple W
The newest original and the most technical. Dylan Purple launched in 2022, composed by Christophe Raynaud, and its official pyramid reads like a Givaudan ingredient catalogue: bitter orange and bergamot from Italy, a pear juice accord; purple freesia with Pomarose and Mahonial, two laboratory rose materials; then Iso E Super, Virginia cedarwood, Ambrofix and the musks Belambre and Sylkolide, in a formula EuroItalia labels vegan. Raynaud called it an invitation to travel. It is not on Ounass Oman; the Faces UAE price in September was AED 558 for 100 ml, roughly OMR 58. Our Dylan Purple W takes the freesia and rose direction with saffron and mandarin up top and vanilla and amber underneath, warmer than the original, and it suits Omani spring days and evening plans alike. All three sizes are available.
Top: Bergamot, saffron, mandarin
Heart: Bulgarian rose, orange blossom, jasmine
Base: Vanilla, white musk, patchouli, amber
5. Yellow Diamonds W
The summer one. Yellow Diamond launched in 2011 as an eau de toilette, composed by Alberto Morillas as the sunlit sibling of Bright Crystal, and EuroItalia's pyramid is citron from Diamante, pear sorbet, neroli and bergamot; nymphaea, freesia, orange blossom and mimosa; amber wood, palo santo and musk. The house describes it as the feeling of sun on skin and the light of summer sunsets, which is marketing, but also accurate. It is thin on the ground in Oman: not on Ounass Oman or at the approved UAE retailers when we checked, only at independents in 50 ml. Our Yellow Diamonds W is the closest reading on this list, down to the pear sorbet and palo santo, and it is built for the months when anything heavier is a mistake. All three sizes are available at the lowest price in this guide.
Top: Pear sorbet, lemon, bergamot, neroli
Heart: Orange blossom, freesia, mimosa, water lily
Base: Amberwood, white musk, palo santo
What the originals cost in Oman
Versace is the rare house in this series with documented rial prices, because EuroItalia sells through Ounass. On Ounass Oman product pages today: Dylan Blue Pour Homme eau de toilette OMR 49.500 for 100 ml; Eros eau de parfum OMR 54.500 for 100 ml; Crystal Noir eau de parfum OMR 58.500 for 90 ml and Parfum OMR 79; Eros Pour Femme eau de parfum OMR 60.500 for 100 ml; Bright Crystal OMR 54 for 90 ml; Dylan Blue Pour Femme OMR 58.500. Dylan Purple and Yellow Diamond are not listed there. Across the border the same bottles are AED 472 to 578 at Ounass and Faces, which is OMR 49 to 61, so Oman is not paying a premium. The independents in Muscat undercut all of it by a fifth to a half; we leave their figures out.
Our five run from OMR 2.500 for 30 ml of Crystal Noir or Yellow Diamonds W to OMR 6.500 for 100 ml of Dylan Blue M or Dylan Purple W, about a tenth of the original per bottle, and all of them sit in the Versace inspired collection.
The Versace fragrances you will not find here
Eros, the turquoise men's bottle from 2012 by Aurelien Guichard, mint and candied apple over tonka and vanilla, is the most searched Versace fragrance in Oman and we have no interpretation of it on this store. Nor of Eros Flame, Eros Energy or the Eros Parfum, nor of Bright Crystal, the pink one that most women's Versace shelves start with. Our Pour Homme Men, built on Versace Pour Homme from 2008, exists but is unavailable in all three sizes right now, so it has no card above. If Eros is what you came for, Ounass Oman has it at OMR 54.500 and that is the honest answer until we carry one. For other houses on the same store, our guide to the best Dior perfumes and the Chanel, Tom Ford, YSL and Louis Vuitton guides follow the same rules as this one.
How to choose between them
For the man who wants one bottle for everything, Dylan Blue M. For a woman who wants evening and occasion, Crystal Noir; for daytime and spring, Eros W; for a modern rose, Dylan Purple W; for the hot months, Yellow Diamonds W. If you are buying a gift and know nothing of the person's taste, Dylan Blue M for a man and Crystal Noir for a woman are the two that do not miss here, because they are the two Versace fragrances Ounass Oman carries all year.
On size, 50 ml on Dylan Blue M and Eros W, because they get used; 30 ml first on Crystal Noir, because gardenia and coconut divide people. On weather, because Muscat is not Milan: Crystal Noir and Dylan Purple W grow louder in heat, so two sprays from May to September and four in winter; Yellow Diamonds W and Eros W were built for the heat; Dylan Blue M sits between, fine at noon in summer because of the citrus and better after dark because of the incense. Working rules from character, not longevity figures in hours.
