This is niche perfumery at full volume. A jammy raspberry and saffron opening feels almost decadent, then rose, jasmine and a thread of incense give it the ceremonial depth Omani perfumery is famous for. Agarwood, ambergris, patchouli and vanilla anchor the base, turning sweetness into something dark and resinous. It belongs at weddings, Eid celebrations and formal evenings where the fragrance is part of the outfit. Projection is serious, so restraint pays off: two sprays are plenty, and it will still greet people before you do. On cool nights it becomes almost sculptural, and the trail it leaves on a bisht or abaya can survive being folded away and worn again.
